The service
RemoveMeFree scans public people-search and data-broker websites for listings matching the identity details you provide, and — with your authorization — submits opt-out and data deletion requests to those sites on your behalf as your authorized agent.
Your authorization
By signing at signup (typing your legal name and ticking the authorization box) you appoint RemoveMeFree as your limited authorized agent to submit and respond to data deletion and opt-out requests to the people-search and data-broker sites we cover, under the CCPA/CPRA and similar state privacy laws. This authorization is limited to those requests and excludes settlements, new accounts, payments, and any FCRA/DPPA/GLBA/HIPAA (credit, financial, medical, or motor-vehicle) matter. We provision you a dedicated privacy address, which we read, store and forward to your email; a broker may contact you directly to verify, and we receive no payment from any broker.
Revoking. You can pause or revoke this authorization at any time with one click from your dashboard ("Pause automatic filing"); we stop filing and auto-confirming for you right away. Revocation doesn't undo requests already sent. Pausing is separate from deleting your account — you can do either.
Accuracy, your promises & indemnification
You may only scan and request removals for yourself, or for a person who has authorized you to act for them (for example, a family member you've added on Complete, or your child where you have legal authority to act on their behalf). Using the service to look up or remove other people is prohibited.
You represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is true, and that you are the person being removed or are authorized to act for them. You agree to indemnify and hold RemoveMeFree harmless from any claim arising out of false or unauthorized information you provide. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months, except for our own willful misconduct.
What we can't promise
Brokers control their own databases. We file the requests, track statutory deadlines and re-file when data reappears, but no service can guarantee a listing never returns. RemoveMeFree is not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice.
Plans & refunds
Paid plans renew annually or monthly and can be cancelled any time from the dashboard. Annual Complete plans include a 30-day money-back period from the first charge; monthly plans can be cancelled any time.
