Who we are
RemoveMeFree is operated by Global Technology Asset Partners Inc. (GTAP Inc.), a United States corporation. GTAP Inc. is the data controller for this service. RemoveMeFree is not a data broker: we do not sell, share or license personal information, and we hold no consumer database.
The service
RemoveMeFree scans public people-search and data-broker websites for listings matching the identity details you provide, and — with your authorization — submits opt-out and data deletion requests to those sites on your behalf as your authorized agent.
Your authorization
By signing at signup (typing your legal name and ticking the authorization box) you appoint RemoveMeFree as your limited authorized agent to submit and respond to data deletion and opt-out requests to the people-search and data-broker sites we cover, in your name or as your agent, under the privacy law of the state you live in where it applies and each site's own published opt-out policy. You confirm your state of residence when you sign; we cite California law only for California residents. RemoveMeFree is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. This authorization is limited to those requests and excludes settlements, new accounts, payments, and any FCRA/DPPA/GLBA/HIPAA (credit, financial, medical, or motor-vehicle) matter. We provision you a dedicated privacy address, which we read, store and forward to your email; a broker may contact you directly to verify, and we receive no payment from any broker.
How we carry it out. In acting on your requests we may, at your direction: open the ordinary links a site sends to confirm or verify a request; complete a site's own opt-out or deletion form on your behalf using your private reply address; and have our own staff or contractors do these things. Some steps only you can do — a code a site texts to your phone, a photo ID or signed statement, or signing in to your own account — and we pass those to you rather than act for you. Not every site can be fully automated, so some will still need a quick step from you; when one does, we tell you in a single summary, not a message per site.
Revoking. You can pause or revoke this authorization at any time with one click from your dashboard ("Pause automatic filing"); we stop filing for you right away. Revocation doesn't undo requests already sent. Pausing is separate from deleting your account — you can do either.
Accuracy, your promises & indemnification
You may only scan and request removals for yourself, or for a person who has authorized you to act for them (for example, a family member you've added on Complete, or your child where you have legal authority to act on their behalf). Using the service to look up or remove other people is prohibited.
You represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is true, and that you are the person being removed or are authorized to act for them. You agree to indemnify and hold RemoveMeFree harmless from any claim arising out of false or unauthorized information you provide. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months, except for our own willful misconduct.
What we can't promise
Brokers control their own databases. We file the requests, track statutory deadlines and re-file when data reappears, but no service can guarantee a listing never returns. RemoveMeFree is not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice.
Plans & refunds
RemoveMeFree Complete is $39 per year, billed yearly, and renews each year until you cancel, which you can do any time from your dashboard. It includes a 30-day money-back period from the first charge. The One-time Sweep is a single $29 payment: it is not a subscription and never renews. During the beta neither is charged, and we will email you before any charge is ever made.
